Pastor Jake Childers was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church on July 9th, 2023. He is originally from the Metro-Detroit area and went to college at Concordia University Chicago. Pastor Jake loves preaching, running, watching football, and reading philosophy. He has a particular heart for those who do not know Jesus and loves equipping people to share the Gospel. He met his wife, Christina, at Concordia Seminary Saint Louis where they both were studying theology. They have been married since July of 2021 and absolutely love living in Knoxville. Pastor Jake and Christina are so excited to walk alongside the people of Grace Lutheran Church as we all strive to walk with Jesus.
