Sunday School Classes
Parent’s and 2’s Together with Jesus 9:45 am
3’s, 4’s, Kindergarten 9:45 am
1st through 6th grade classes begin at 9:30 am
1st Sunday Opening for Sunday School
All meet in the sanctuary at 9:30 am on the first Sunday of every month.
Songs and birthday recognition.
For adults and children.
Wee Sing
Who: 3’s, 4’s, and Kindergarten classes
2’s class members may attend with a parent
What: Christian music and action songs for the very young.
Where: Fellowship Hall
When: 9:30 – 9:45 am on Sunday mornings
Led by Susan Klemmer
Children’s Church
Who: For children age 4 through (and including) 3rd grades. Attendance is optional.
What: An age-appropriate alternative to the regular sermon during both 11 am worship services.
Bible story, songs, object lessons, prayer, puppet skits, short activities.
Where: Sundays in the Fellowship Hall.
More Info: Children should register in the Children’s Church folder on each Sunday they plan to attend. Children are escorted
to the Fellowship Hall by leadership teams after the children’s sermon. However, children must be
signed-out by a parent after worship. Registration binders are in the Family Life Center and the sanctuary.
Joy Singers
Who: 3rd – 6th grade combined.
What: Children’s choir in a relaxed setting. Occasionally sing for worship service.
Where: In the Family Life Center Classroom #3
When: 6:00 – 6:30 pm Wednesdays, Sept-May.
Led by Debbie Stapel.
Joy Group and Joy Too
Who: Grades 5th-6th and 3rd-4th respectively.
What: Short, life-application Bible studies, and a variety of fellowship activities: including
games, crafts, service projects, and physical activities. Snack provided.
Occasional summer activities will be announced as they develop.
Where: Wednesday evenings upstairs in children’s building, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
When: September – May, does not meet during Knox Co. Schools vacation days.
Cradle Roll Ministries Team
Who: Sponsor support to newborn babies and their parents.
What: Scheduled mailing of informative support material and Christian literature for parents and child by an assigned sponsor.
Where: Sponsors may make mailings from home or from the church.
When: Sponsor assignments are made as members' babies are born. 3 year commitment.
Church Incentive Points Store
Who: For children age 2 - 5th grade
What: Children receive incentive points for accomplishments within Sunday school, Joy Groups, and Children's Church. They may redeem their points for merchandise: books,stickers, games, etc.
Where: Through the Children's Ministries Office.
When: On-going.
