What is LWML?We are the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, now most often referred to as Lutheran Women in Mission. Actually, we are on a mission - to meet the needs of women in our churches, to serve the Lord with gladness, and to spread the gospel to all mission fields we find ourselves in, whether at home or away.
Who is a member?
Technically, all women of the Lutheran Church Missouri
Synod are members.
Who takes part? Women desiring to build friendships with other women within our church and other Lutheran churches throughout the Mid-South District, East Tennessee Zone, and all of the other 40 districts in the USA.
The mission statement of the LWML is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
